I hope everyone had a wonderful break! I feel as though the week flew by. I attempted to spend my break being productive, but found that in the end I had just created a huge mess.
Over break we spent some time at school. We sorted through the storage closet (exhibit A of the big mess that was created) and added some materials to the classroom. We found the 10,000 puzzles that MMP has--most of which are from 1950. Courtney P has kindly offered to sort through them and put out any puzzles that are looking for a new home. So be on the lookout for those! We also uncovered a load of books and have unintentionally created a lot of work for Elizabeth (I'm sorry!). Our library is busting at the seams! I imagine there will be a few books looking for new homes soon.
I rearranged the room again. There are some new materials for the little ones to explore, but there isn't an added dramatic play area this time. My goal is to move a lot of our learning and exploring outside! With that said, please keep in mind that we will be heading outside rain or shine. Unless the weather is dangerous we will try our absolute best to get outside. So please dress your kiddo accordingly. Given we have experienced every season this week alone, there is no telling just what clothing your little one will need. So feel free to restock their cubby with extra clothes, jackets, layers etc. Also remember to apply sunblock and bug spray before drop off as we are not able to apply them at school. I know it's hard to think about needing sunblock since it just snowed two days ago, but I'm hopeful warm weather is coming and will be here to stay!
This week we will be painting with nature and making our own paper!
