This week we have explored pumpkins by tasting seeds and pumpkin cream. We made pumpkin spin art, mixed colors to make orange, planted pumpkin seeds, pretended to make pumpkin muffins with play dough, went on a pumpkin hunt, weighed pumpkins, and played farmer and pumpkin tag, fished with nets in the pond, and sang Five Little Pumpkins on a Gate.
If you want to continue the fun at home this weekend, here are a few recipes to try:
Can of pumpkin pie filling
Container cool whip (no sugar added)
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
Beat until combined on medium speed and refrigerate a few hours before eating
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
3/4 cup boiling water
Tablespoon cream of tartar
Tablespoon vegetable oil
Optional: food coloring, glitter, spice, jello, kool aid, essential oil, vanilla extract, confetti...etc.
