Farm Animals

November 14, 2018

Farm animals have been so much fun.  We spelled our names in corn, built fences with Popsicle sticks, made popcorn, talked about what sounds animals make and what they give you on a farm, read lots of farm books, sang Old McDonald and This Little Piggy, we counted animals, decorated our own barns, mixed paint to make brown “mud” for pigs, built tractors out of shapes, and made fluffy sheep with white paint.

The children were thrilled to tell me all about their day at the farm.  I hope to join them for the next farm day.

The children are really enjoying telling me that this month starts with the word “no” and they are very excited to start talking about Thanksgiving.
